Parangkusumo Beach is a beach that lies in Yogyakarta. The beach is so
beautiful and so sacred. You can feel the sacred atmosphere once you stepped in

Location
Parangkusumo Beach is
situated about 30 km from the city of Yogyakarta. It is side by side with
Parangtritis and Depok Beaches. Administratively, the beach lies in
Parangtritis Village, Kretek, Bantul, Yogyakarta. To reach the beach, you can
go by public transportation from Giwangan bus station.
You can then take a bus
towards Parangtritis. You only need to pay for Rp15.000
(US$1.50). When you have arrived at the beach, you must pay for the ticket,
about Rp3,000 (less than one dollar). When entering the beach location, you can
see the most fantastic view. You can see perfect waves rolling, feel the see
breeze and listen to the sound of the waves hitting the rock. It’s all soothing
and relaxing.
Activities
At Parangkusumo Beach, it
is not allowed to do dangerous water activities like surfing or diving. The
waves here are too powerful. However, you can play in the shallow water, and
