Bidadari Island is one of big islands in West
Flores and one of 26 islands among Komodo Island. The land around the island is
surrounded by hills, trees and beautiful white sand makes the island well-known

Location
Bidadari Island lies at Labuan
Bajo, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. If you start your
journey from Bali, you can take a flight to Labuan Bajo for 1.5 hours. From
Labuan Bajo, you can take a boat for about 30 minutes. But, if you take a speedboat,
it takes only 10 minutes. If you have reserved the room from the resort, they
will pick you up from Labuan Bajo.
Total area of Bidadari
Island is 15 hectares and there are 10 cottages with five stars services and
restaurant. The resort in the island provides you diving facility with
international standard. The target of this facility is oversea tourists. The
facilities in the cottages are mini bar, private terraces, hot water, doctor,
laundry, security guard, and many more.
Activities
Bidadari Island is a good
place for amateur divers. Thus, if you are interested to dive, you can explore
underwater life in the island. You will see coral reefs and marine life with
colorful fishes from 5 meters depth. If you dive deeper, you may meet big
turtle. However, if you cannot dive but curious to see underwater panorama, you
can snorkel around the island to enjoy coral reefs.

dive. Diving spots around Labuan Bajo is well-known as the best diving spots in
the world. It is no wonder divers from oversea come to Bidadari Island to enjoy

Euro for 4 – 10 days in many diving spots in Flores Sea.
Apart from diving and
snorkeling, you still can do other water activities, i.e. scuba diving. Because
the resort has standard international, you will get complete equipment anytime

explore underwater life around Komodo National Park.
If you want to enjoy marine
beauty, book the room before you come because Bidadari Island always busy from
July 1 to September 15 and December 1 to
January 15. In the crowded situation, the resort will request 15 – 18 Euro
extra. However, if you don’t want to meet peak season, you can come during low
season from January 15 – March 1 and September 16 – November 30. In these
seasons, you will have more chance to explore underwater life to admire marine
life of Bidadari Island.
