Lasiana Beach

Lasiana Beach is situated in
Central Kupan District, Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara. The total area of this
beach is around 3.4 hectares. The beach is so calm as it is shaded by around 65
palm trees and many other trees. It has white sand and clear blue sea water.
The waves are calm but powerful. There are hills around the beach. The island
is only about 14 km outside Kupang. It is a perfect place for Kupang people to
relax after tired of doing many activities all day long. The beach is easily
accessible as it is not far from Kupang. You can rent a motorcycle in Kupang or
go by bus or taxi.

Lasiana Beach offers many
activities, including water activities and adventure. You can dive or snorkel

waters. It is so shallow that divers can easily reach the spot. The ship was
bombed by Australian Air Force in 1942. It sank right in the place where the
ship anchored. You can visit the spot and learn how magnificent the bombing
was.
