Location
Gili
Trawangan is the largest of the three small islands or gili in the north west
part of Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara,
Indonesia. Gili has the length of 3 km and the width
of 2 km. The population of Trawangan is about 800 thousands inhabitants. You
can reach Gili from Senggigi. There are shuttle buses services of Perama that
will take you directly from Senggigi and depart at 9 a.m to Gili. It takes less
than two hours driving from Senggigi. You need to pay for about Rp100,000
(US$11.00) or plus Rp10,000 (US$1.00) for pickup from your lodge in Senggigi.
Along your journey to Gili, you will see coasts and roads with beautiful
panorama. You can also see traditional villages along your journey.
Activities
You
can do your favorite activities in Gili Trawangan, such as surfing, snorkeling
